Ernie Batson
Ernie Batson earned his Master's Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. He is an exceptional classroom teacher. His experiences include 14 years in the public schools, curriculum and staff development, and a private business owner. His career in the public schools included: Coordinator for Curriculum and Staff Development, Facilitator for district wide implementation of inquiry-centered Science, and teacher of a one room (K - 6) rural school house.
Mary Batson
Mary Batson earned her Master's Degree in Reading Education from The George Washington University as a reading specialist. She has worked extensively with young children; particularly those with special needs. Her career experiences include: Assistant Director for The George Washington University Reading Center and Lead Teacher for Cognitive Development Program classes at The George Washington University. She has extensive training for and experience with children with special needs.
This husband and wife team have over 30 years experience working with children and adults. They posses a unique combination of energy and enthusiasm, inspiring children and adults to be their personal best. Ernie and Mary also work as educational consultants, traveling across the country training teachers on managing their classrooms effectively, incorporating hands on Science and Math in the early childhood classroom, and understanding children's development.
