Hands-On Science Grant: Women's Center; Fort Collins, Colorado. Final teaching/consultative site visit to each of the 21 after school care programs involved in the Hands-On Science Grant funded by Eastman Kodak and Hewlett Packard through the American Business Collaborative.
Division of Wildlife, Fort Collins, Colorado. Assisted in the development and implementation of environmental education curriculum for early childhood classrooms, presented training workshops for preschool teachers, and piloted activities. September 1997 - May 1999.
Hands-On Science Grant: Women's Center; Fort Collins, Colorado. Provided consultative services for a Work/Family Directions grant implementing science in after school care programs in three cities along Colorado's Front Range. Responsibilities included: problem solving for 21 individual sites, staff development workshops, and coaching adults to use inquiry-centered approaches in science investigations with children. January 1998 - March 1999.
Saint Mary's Hall, San Antonio, Texas. Assisted the school in designing a science lab for the Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students. Responsibilities included: a site visit to the school; administrative and instructional staff interviews; and report of recommendations for physical room, science materials, and staffing requirements. April 1998.

Instructor: Talking About Play: Play Therapy in the Home. Larimer County RAFT (Resource Access for Families with Toddlers). Conducted a three week course for parents of children with special needs to increase the use of play to meet therapy goals. January 1998.
Cognitive Coach: Eyestone Elementary School, Wellington, Colorado. Used cognitive coaching methods to assist a sixth grade teacher in improving her strategies and techniques for teaching science. Funded by Poudre School District, Fort Collins, Colorado. November 1996 - June 1997.
Family Coach: Loveland Colorado. Showed family members how to use play techniques to improve their 3 year old son's language skills. A RAFT (Resource Access for Families with Infants and Toddlers) project funded with Colorado Part H funds. April 1997 A training facility for early childhood professionals.

Division of Wildlife, Fort Collins, Colorado. Assisted in the development and implementation of environmental education curriculum for early childhood classrooms, presented training workshops for preschool teachers, and piloted activities. September 1997 - May 1999.
Hands-On Science Grant: Women's Center; Fort Collins, Colorado. Provided consultative services for a Work/Family Directions grant implementing science in after school care programs in three cities along Colorado's Front Range. Responsibilities included: problem solving for 21 individual sites, staff development workshops, and coaching adults to use inquiry-centered approaches in science investigations with children. January 1998 - March 1999.
Saint Mary's Hall, San Antonio, Texas. Assisted the school in designing a science lab for the Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students. Responsibilities included: a site visit to the school; administrative and instructional staff interviews; and report of recommendations for physical room, science materials, and staffing requirements. April 1998.

Instructor: Talking About Play: Play Therapy in the Home. Larimer County RAFT (Resource Access for Families with Toddlers). Conducted a three week course for parents of children with special needs to increase the use of play to meet therapy goals. January 1998.
Cognitive Coach: Eyestone Elementary School, Wellington, Colorado. Used cognitive coaching methods to assist a sixth grade teacher in improving her strategies and techniques for teaching science. Funded by Poudre School District, Fort Collins, Colorado. November 1996 - June 1997.
Family Coach: Loveland Colorado. Showed family members how to use play techniques to improve their 3 year old son's language skills. A RAFT (Resource Access for Families with Infants and Toddlers) project funded with Colorado Part H funds. April 1997 A training facility for early childhood professionals.
